Fall chinook salmon are the primary fish reared at the Makah National Hatchery (NFH), along with smaller number of coho and chum salmon and steelhead trout. The hatchery is open daily from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The best time to visit is in the fall. October and November are primary spawning months. Tours can be arranged.
